Yet, despite our global awards and written requests from over 200 charities applauding the Backpack Bed program - we have no Government funding.

When homeless are turned away from shelters, the study proven Backpack Bed gives both dignity and life saving outdoor protection from the cold and rain.
Continually growing we partner with 200+ charities. In 2011 approximately 3000 Backpack Beds were distributed - sadly this falls well short of the required 21,000 needed yearly to assist street sleeping homeless across Australia.
The demand for the Backpack Bed exceeds our funding. To date, we have been forced to turn away 39 homeless organisations pleading to be involved in the Backpack Bed program.
Testament to the quality of the Backpack Bed - it won the worlds largest and most prestigious product design award in Germany, the
2011 Red Dot 'Best of the Best'. The Backpack Bed also won both the
2011 Australian International Design Award and the
Sydney Powerhouse Museum Design Award 2011.
Australia has 16,375+ homeless sleeping outside everynight. Help us give Backpack Beds and other crisis products to the most needy of needy - the homeless that sleep on the street, alleys, under bridges and worse.
